... a small lot of 2021 tempranillo aged with extra cherry and vanilla oak to bring out all of the vibrant fruits, oak and smoke that tempranillo is known for.

we love tempranillo so much that we set aside 2 barrels of 2021 Tempranillo, added additional spiced oak to the barrel and bottled a small batch of a beautiful reserve tempranillo.

what is reserve? it is just that, wine that the winemakers "reserved" aside for something extra special. sometimes it can be additional time in barrel, sometimes it can mean treated a little differently (or a lot) from its original batch.

this wine will perform best if laid down for a few extra months, served with fatty proteins (think smoked brisket or tri tip), spiced rubbed vegetables or potatoes, cured meats and hearty cheeses (hello charcuterie).
